Reviews

It's great for me.

"As a beginner, I bought this and replaced the antennas with an omni and patch antenna, Im enjoying that a lot. It might not have other advanced like other goggles, but I see myself happy and I can remove the monitor frmo the goggles and place it on the table so other can see what I see. Then is HdZero :)"

Good kit

"Exactly what you'd expect, but with a brighter screen."

Great ride along HDzero gogs

"Would be five stars if one could flip the Fresno lens"

Nice monitor

"I use it on the bench as a monitor, works fine, make sure you update or it will just show a black screen"

Emax Transporter 2

"Works great for bench or spectator."

I wanted to like these but there are too many negatives.

"I was tired of setting up the HDZero module on my HDO 2's every time I flew and was hoping these would be more convenient. I knew there would be some downgrades with these but there were just too many. The major issue is with focal length. The goggles just do not go back far enough from the lens to view the screen comfortably so flying causes a fair bit of eye strain that I just don't get with other goggles. The battery life is pretty poor and the voltage sags badly when it is cold. The LCD also performs horribly when cold with very bad ghosting."

Disappointed

"If you are as farsighted as me, these goggles end up as an expensive tiny monitor. It was impossible to focus and there’s zero opportunity for corrective lens, glasses don’t fit, without a massive hack. Very disappointed."

Q&A

I purchased a Avatar Digital HD FPV System Nano Kit and the Fat Shark googles as my visual display. My question. Can I use a FPV monitor display in place of the googles?
You would need the Avatar VRX and a monitor that has HDMI inputs.
