BALANCED DURABILITY AND WEIGHT The QAV-S 2 JohnnyFPV Edition builds on the durability of its predecessor with upgraded 6mm thick arms in addition to the aluminum X-lock and FPV camera protection. At 133g (frame only - without accessories) this combination provides an industry-leading balance of weight and durability for even the most demanding applications.
X-LOCK ARM RETENTION The QAV-S 2 introduces a new lateral X-Lock arm system. This all-aluminum arm locking system improves the QAV-S design in both rigidity and ease of use, providing two-axis clamping that is mechanically isolated from the main plates and flight controller stack. The new lock system also allows the arms to fold with only one screw per side for easy transportation.
ALUMINUM FPV CAMERA PROTECTION The new FPV camera mounting solution offers excellent camera protection and support for various cameras through customizable carbon plates. The frame includes plates with damped mounts tested and optimized for the O3 camera and plates with mounts for a range of other camera options. If you want to create your own, the M2 mount points on the aluminum guards easily allow for custom mounts. Your imagination is the limit.
INJECTION MOLDED GOPRO MOUNT The QAV-S 2 uses the same GoPro mount pattern used by other Lumenier frames, allowing a durable injection molded GoPro mount to attach with a single screw.
BACKWARD-COMPATIBLE MOUNTING PATTERNS For those who still want to use printed GoPro and antenna mounts, the QAV-S 2 brings the JohnnyFPV frame into line with the mount patterns from the other QAV-S series frames. The new edition now uses the same mounting pattern and standoff placement as the other frames in the series. All previous QAV-S* mounts and Bardwell Special Edition frames will fit the JohnnyFPV Edition without modification.

O3/O4 COMPATIBLE MOUNTING The rear plate adds 25.5 M1.6 mount holes to mount the O3 air unit to the frame directly. The frame kit also includes a 5mm full aluminum mounting kit to allow for perfect wire routing for both the O3/O4 air unit and a rear XT60 connector.
ADJUSTABLE ALUMINUM XT60 AND ACCESSORY MOUNT A custom rear mounting solution allows for a hard mounted XT60 connection as well as a range of accessory mounting options for antennas, GPS, and rear-facing action cameras. Adjustable angles allows for the perfect position regardless of the accessory being used. The frame kit includes plates for the injection molded GoPro mount and GPS mounts with both single and dual antenna options, as well as a single antenna only option.
FOLDING ARMS The new lock system on the QAV-S 2 JohnnyFPV SE allows the arms to fold with only one screw per side for easy transportation. Simply remove the side screws and wedges, and you are now able to fold the arms.
Downloads The Lumenier QAV-S 2 JohnnyFPV SE Frame Kit can also support the new DJI O4 Air Unit PRO. You can 3D print these files and replace the stock carbon camera plates, making it O4 compatible!

"Quite a bit to unpack here but in short, this is the best flight performance frame I have ever flown! (with the help of and direct communication with the designer Ryan Harrell) As he likes to put it I have been "Destruction testing" /bashing this frame for just over a year almost daily. so I have learned quite a bit as far as where the weak points are (pics included) So firstly, I want to clarify, I customized the back end of this frame with 23 mm standoffs and added a second lower front split plate for seriously increased durability! After extensive bashing the rear arms can start to break through the feont lower split plate. Adding a second plate prevents this from occurring. After multiple arm breaks. Understand this frame was not built for bashing, but it can absolutely take the abuse if ultimate performance is what you're after My favorite set up! I like to run the fettec SFOC esc and kiss ultra mini for the best flight experience I've ever felt. "It's a very nice frame, however I was trying to install a TBS Lucid 8S 4in1 ESC in it, but the battery pads stick out too wide on it and run into the rear standoff. Going to have to come up with an alternative ESC."

Epic upgrade
"The previous JohnnyFPV edition was already a fantastic frame, but the V2 is a huge step up. The arms are the same motor to motor distance but the body has been tightened up, so you get the same stability with a better drag profile and the handling improvement is noticable. I've been flying the prototypes for several months and this is my current favorite to fly. All the mounting options and accessories are just icing on the cake. The 6mm arms are super rigid, especially when combined with the new mounting system. After showing the prototypes around at a couple of local events the feedback has been extremely positive from other pilots as well."

Beautiful Piece of kit
"Love the additions and similarities to the JB edition and OG QAV. Although very similiar in weight with changes to some cosmetic stuff, the drone flies awesome. I've only been in the hobby for a year+ now, gathering a few frames as I go. Bought the JB kit along with a spare frame and love it but have to admit I might be a bigger fan of this one purely based on the connectors for the xt60 and how they are so easily mounted for the battery. It's definitely a tighter kit to the original QAVs2. The durability on these things are just amazing and on top of that having a great quad you can get better with and even use when your an expert is just overall a great sale point. It really is a beautiful piece of kit"

One of the best cinematic/freestyle FPV frames you can buy
"I've built up my QAV-S 2 JohnnyFPV and I am very impressed by this frame, once you have it in your hand you can really feel the quality of the materials used and there are some very cool innovations like the X-lock system, which makes assembly and changing arms super convenient (if you ever break one of those 6mm arms) and the rear structure of the frame is very cool, I've never seen anything quite like it. It moves the XT60 off of the main plate, freeing up battery space, and it gives you the option to run a rear camera or a GPS right out of the box. I don't know of any other frame on the market that does this... For new FPV builders it's also nice to have a proper instruction manual - most frames just give you an exploded diagram and leave you guessing which screws go where. This is not the cheapest frame available, but the the quality of the materials and design innovations make it one of the best frames you can but at any price point."
