Solid little quad

"Beginner friendly design. The frame has saved me from preplacing my props many times. It just simply bounces off the object and keeps flying. Throttle is nice and the motors are strong enough to handle light winds. The learning curve of BetaFlight isn't the easiest but there are some YouTube videos out there on that. The only other issue is the adjustable camera angle keeps slipping with the slightest crash or even with a battery swap. But I'd still prefer the adjustable over fixed. They should have done more to protect the batteries as they can easily become damaged from even soft crashes. Then they become difficult to insert. I recommend using a piece of thin styrene to extend the battery catch to cover both batteries. Seeing how this was targeted for beginners it should have been designed with more battery protection from the beginning. Still a great drone. The camera is very nice even in low light which is a huge plus as the winds die down at dusk. Perfect time to fly thanks to this camera. I'd buy it again."

Good customer service, however bad product.

"Posted Review as Schuyler So I don't know how to update my review, So I'm going to post another one. I would not recommend buying this product. extremely hard to find replacement parts. However RDQ reached out and made the situation right. So they do have great customer service. I just wouldn't recommend BetaFpv at this point."

Excellent 2s quad

"Durable and nimble. Coming from 1s tiny whoops, this has been a great first step into the 2s category. The VTX is plenty powerful, but will overheat quickly at max and can/will experience thermal shutdowns. Fortunately, I'm willing and able to modify the airflow so it doesn't roast itself, but it seems like a silly thing to have to do."

"Spi receiver isn't the easiest to bind with. But this is a smooth flying quad the motors are butter smooth and the tune is dead on I didn't adjust any on this one ."

"The quality of the product is a little disappointing as the camera failed in 3 days. Though it is a very fast and good quad. Binding for a quick step, when we got the new quad replaced by RDQ."

Cetus X Drone Purchase

"The Cetus X arrived well packed and in perfect condition, and it arrived quickly on standard shipping. The only thing I could have asked for was a piece of paper advising to go to the BetaFPV web site and review the product before doing ANYTHING with the drone. I think they assumed I knew what I was doing."
