Perfect for an 11 yr old Novice

"Recently, our youngest son has become intrigued by tiny whoops but was intimidated to try them based upon previous cheaper drone experiences. He really loved the idea of FPV, but LOS flight with other drones still gave him some problems. Not with the Cetus though! The option of slow speed and novice mode were exactly what he needed. Now he can navigate through the house from the couch and is gaining more confidence with every session. Awesome product, packaging, and shipping. I highly recommend this for any beginner!"

"Yes, it's tiny, yes, it's analog, yes, I've said yes too much already. The point is, yes to pretty much everything about the BetaFPV Cetus. It flies reasonable for it's size, definitely has some propwash, but for someone looking wanting their first FPV drone to fly for real. This is excellent. I've crashed every flight so far, which is about fifty times, only has some scratches. I even crashed it into my sink, submerging it completely. I let it dry through the night, and haven't had any issues. So, yes, you want this drone! And some additional batteries!"

If you're a beginner, this kit is amazing.

"Everything just, "works". Super easy to fly. Range is decent, nothing insane. It's a 1s brushed quad, so you'll be cruising at 50 to 60% throttle for the 3-4 minutes you'll be flying. It's meant for cruising / light racing. Don't try aerobatics. This isn't the quad for that. Worth the price in my book, but you'll probably want a brushless quad pretty soon."
