"Never know when it if you may need one. My FC vtx 9v bec had gone out. Wire this to the battery, then into vtx. Bypassing the fc due to flying HV 6s batteries so that i wouldn't kill the vtx also bypassing the dead 9v bec on the fc."

"This works great for powering 5v or 9v devices on your quad (up to 2a). I'm using it to run an Arduino nano on my 6s Arducopter drone. I think most people use it for accessories like the DJI Air unit (that pulls ~0.7a@9v) Note: If you're bridging the connections for 9v operation, use an xacto knife or something to scrape the solder mask off the pads a little. There was so much solder mask in the area that I had a difficult time bridging until I did it. Output voltage is nice and consistent across a wide range of inputs. I connected it to my bench PSU and varied input from 25v to 12v and there was no discernible voltage change on the output. I did not record noise introduced, but I recall it being in the neighborhood of µv."
