Description

The engineers at EMAX are always seeking ways to design the ultimate motor with brushless technology. In their efforts, they produced the ECO II Series, a new line of brushless motors further improving on the performance and durability while retaining the same affordability.

Redesigned from the ground up, the ECO II boasts an all new architecture. With a more rounded design paired together with thicker reinforcements, maximum durability is achieved. Finished with a reflective surface, the ECO II offers a sleek modern design destined to satisfy the need for both aesthetics and durability.

In order to improve the performance from its predecessor, the ECO II utilizes N52SH arc magnets over prior N48 magnets, allowing more powerful throttle response and higher RPMs to be achieved. More torque and thrust is generated, allowing pilots the flexibility to comfortably meet the demands of any racetrack or flight situation.

The ECO 2 Series marks the next evolution in affordable brushless motor technology, bringing in a new era of performance for everyone.

Power is Great but Durability is Ok

"I put this in my first 5 inch build. The power is very impressive (but then again I'm coming from a tiny whoop 😀). My only complaint is the durability. Multiple times now I have crashed my drone- not what I would consider hard crashes. Sometimes when I crash, the motor gets bent and can't move much. I'm able to fix the motors by using tools to bend them back but it is annoying and makes me question the longevity of the motors."

Great motor for the price

"These motors perform really well, but If you're looking for something more durable, I'd move towards a unibell. I'm a beginner and have put these through the wringer, but I've had an issue with bell separation on them after hard landings."

Q&A

My intent is to put these on a GepRC Mark4 5” Frame powered by 6S Can you confirm the compatibility?
These motors have a 12x12mm mounting pattern which matches the first 4 holes on the arms of this frame.
Hello I would like to know can I run a 6-inch prop offers motor with a 6S or do I need to use Max ECO II Series 2207 1700Kv
For the 6inch props i would run the 1700kv so you have more torque which will help to keep the motors running cooler.
Hi, i want to upgrade my motors to these eco II, will 1900kv work ok for both 4S and 6S batteries or do i need a higher kv for 4S batteries. Very cool you guys in Orlando area, i live in Tampa.
This will be able to fly on 4s, however it will be quite sluggish, I would suggest higher KV motors for 4s.
