Reviews

"Short battery life that results in an inconsistent video feed and is a knockoff of the product I actually wanted. They do perform but it is underwhelming compared to what I was expecting of the goggles."

Beware - required focus adjustment for normal vision

"I agree with other people's opinions that these are good value googles. The screen, receiver, and DVR are good quality. BUT, with normal vision, I found that the goggles were way out of focus. I don't wear glasses and have 25/20 vision, and I could not read any OSD text unless I removed the front portion of the goggles and moved the screen 35mm further away! They were unusable for me as shipped. They look like they were properly assembled, so this seems to be a major design flaw. I imported these goggles to Costa Rica, so I couldn't return them easily. I saw a lot of 30-40mm spacers that people 3D printed to solve this issue. I didn't love that idea as it would make them even more front-heavy. Instead to make mine work, I opened the head piece and moved the lens about 15mm closer to my eyes. This required trimming 5mm off the bottom of the lens. It's almost perfect. I can read the OSD text clearly now, and actually see the image from the camera. If you're considering these goggles, look for the newer EV800DM which have adjustable focus instead."

Bang for the buck, but be aware of the battery life

"This is on the heavier side, has less features, etc., but for the price, it has more than I expected. The diversity radios do a great job even for 25 mW systems, the goggle isn't too heavy (and is detachable as well), has DVR, and so on. As a beginner goggle, I would recommend this. But keep in mind that this has a short battery life."

I love these Googles. For

"I love these Googles. For they cost they are great. I received a bad patch antenna so I don't get the range I would want. The screen has a large fpv and looks good. GetFpv shipped it quick. I do notice some artifacts on the DVR."

Ben C. (4/5)

Good first google

"Bought these thinking they were the Eachine EV800D but these I guess are the store brand clones, pretty vague imo. But they work pretty well, nice big screen, DVR function is easy to use. My only gripes are how terrible the breakup is on the DVR vs what you actually see in the goggles. Second is there is a weird purple tone but once I give the quads throttle it disappears. This was something that did not happen in the BetaFPV vr02 (whichever is the non dvr ones). Lastly the padding is terrible and quite uncomfortable. I will be researching a padding alternative I could possibly use, right now I wear a beanie cap so my forehead until I find a solution. I’m content with these."

Cliff (4/5)

Decent but with useless battery

"Good budget goggles, nice to have DVR built in. Pretty functional but for the hopeless dead batteries eachine products always seem to ship with."

Tharn V. (3/5)

Easy to use

"Easy to use and get to flying very quick. This is recommended!"

Sean S. (5/5)

great range and great goggles

"they are sooooo good. Like idk how they are so good. The range on them is exceptionally good. probably even as good as the fat shark goggles"
