FAF 3" Tiny Talon Bird of Prey

"Grabbed these for a 3" racer build on a FAF 3" Tiny Talon Bird of Prey frame (you can find images of this frame on Rotorbuilds.com but probably wont find it available for purchase anywhere). The build is around 200 gr, props may be a little aggressive as i get about 1.5 min on 3s 550, but on 4s 550 i get about 3-3.5 min of flight... I have a full vista with a nebula pro camera (heavy for this build), to shave weight i'll decase the vista and see how it performs. So far, these motors are an excellent budget choice - i dont know how they'll hold up in a hard crash, but ripping HARD on it's maiden flights, these are a solid choice."

"Haven’t done much other than some test flights with them. Using a 3s 750mah battery with them and the system works really well. Could probably do 4s but would have to downscale the output power in BF. My only complaint is that the M5 screw shaft is like 4mm too long. Makes it look a bit funny and adds a few grams. Other than that the motors sound and look clean 🔥"

Fine motor at exceptional price

"These little babies rock. Very tight stator-magnet gap, nice neat windings: there's a real snap at each pole interval as you turn the bell by hand. Just one test flight so far, on 3" freestyle frame. Very smooth and well balanced, lots of torque. 3s with 3041 props on AUW 214g (less battery) very responsive. Fun observation: on bench w/o props, the 4 motors are so smooth that they seem to whistle. Very impressive for such a low price. There are 4 more already in my cart..."
