"The mobula7 hd 2s version got longer flight times and better range in my opinion, but this Mobula 8 is very lightweight more powerful pluz has some zippiness to it perfect for around the yard . . The Mobula 7 hd 2s more of a cruiser explorer and the mobula 8 for me is great for more aggressive flying . . Everything works great . I ripped my mipi cable trying to put 03 unit in it soI use my 04 and its perfect. Tight squeeze, gotta go naked in that 1 😆"

Flys great!

"This is my first whoop style FPV drone. Flys great! Took me a minute to get use to it coming from 5”. Had to buy this HD version without the 03 and install my own. Was super easy and came with everything I needed. I’m giving this 4 stars because my first crash ripped the VTX connector off the AIO. Wasn’t a hard crash as everything else was still intact. No broken ducts or broken props. Fortunately, I’m good with a soldering iron and there was no damaged traces so I was able to successfully solder it back on. Been great for about 30+ flights since then."

Dji o3 air unit mobula 8 2s

"I think this model should come in a 3s min format 2s is just not enough to power it for long enough I was getting about 2 min max on a 2s 1300 full charged. I am going to build a 3s with the frame and see if it really is the answer! While i did fly it flew alright I’m happy with the motors and the props just needs a little bigger battery in my opinion. It was a great learning experience and I will learn from the data I have on the drone and try to improve on it."

Answer from previous question about 03 antenna replacement was “A: This unit does not come with a video system installed so no it would not have antennas other than the RX antenna.” This is not correct. This version is the 03 “lite” version that has everything but the 03 and camera. It comes with the 03 canopy and 2 dipole antennas for the 03. I have already purchased this version. I need replacement 03 antennas due to the ones that came with it have taken a beating! Please, could you point me in the right direction?: Any LHCP U.Fl antenna will work. I would recommend the Micro Vee by O.R.T. as an upgrade over the dipoles.
Is there no direct replacement antennas for the 03 that come with this? Not able to locate any direct replacements: This unit does not come with a video system installed so no it would not have antennas other than the RX antenna.
Can I install analog vTX on this?: Yes.
Is the O3 version compatible with the dji remote 2?: If the unit has the O3 in it then yes, The Controller2 is compatible with the O3 Air Unit.
Would the hdzero freestyle v2 vtx fit? I’m assuming yes?: No. The Mobula8 has 25x25 whoop mounting
