Wiring Diagram & Binding Procedure

Binding procedure

1. Supply power to the flight controller by plug USB, wait until the green LED on the FC is off, immediately turn off the power, and then repeat again the above steps. When the FC is powered on for the third time, the green LED light will start to double-flash, which means that the RX enters the binding mode
2. Please make sure your ExpressLRS tx module firmware is v3.x.x. And go to ExpressLRS.lua from “TOOLS” menu of your radio transmitter. Then hit [Bind] to binding with the onboard ExpressLRS receiver. The green LED should blinking slowly first then turn to solid, that means binding was successfully. If the green led still keep double flash after binding ,please change Model Match tab value from “off” to “on” or from “on” to “off”

Receiver LED status meanings

Green LED solid means bind successful or RC link established; Green LED double-flash means get into bind mode; Green LED flash slowly means no RC signal input from TX module; Green LED continuous flash fast means ExpressLRS wifi enabled.

Awful

"Motor plugs immediately broke off, then ground pads wouldn't stop bridging. Absolute waste of money!"

Jonah (1/5)

Great FC

"It’s a very good FC. It works great and is a good alternative to the X12. I don’t love the small UART pads near the post holes as they are a little more difficult to solder to as compared to other boards. I have one that had a problem with one esc not working properly straight out of the box so it might be a good idea to connect power and motors for a test before getting too far along in a build. Overall it’s very good. I’d buy again."

John K. (5/5)

Lightweight package

"Super lightweight 3 in 1 package for a 2 inch build. Overkill 20amp escs, F405 flight controller, ELRS receiver with UART and a good antenna. Easy to add a walksnail 1s lite kit and fly."

Philip G. (5/5)

Ordered wrong fc

"Looks good but I ordered wrong one . Need to exchange it."

DAVID G. (5/5)

"Don’t like it don’t show which way is forward or no arrow"

delbert (1/5)

Aio

"As described"

Robbie B. (5/5)

"Okish flight controller"

Jonathan (5/5)

Quality FC that exceeded expectations.

"Reliable, lightweight, and effective FC. I used this on a 3s 75 mm sized whoop running 5 blade 40 mm props. It was a unique build and this was the FC that had good reviews and specs thar matched the build requirement. It lived up to expectations."

David L. (5/5)

Great aio

"I was lucky to find it I. Stock, it works perfect."

Steve H. (5/5)

bad esc out of the box

"Do not buy. Mine came with one bad esc out of the box."

Bret (1/5)

Q&A

Does this FC have a spare UART so as to run an HD Zero Whooplite VTX?
yes refer to the wiring diagram in the description on our site to see them.
The specs say this is UART ELRS then it says also says it's SPI?? Which is it?
This unit has a UART/Serial ELRS receiver. Happy flying!
