Diamond F4 FR 4-in-1 Receiver

"Nice small AIO for whoops. I have two of these in Fractal75 frames and they are super durable nice. The only thing I wish is that they eventually create an ELRS version of this board"

Happymodel Hassles

"I've bought (3) of these from various sources and I have to say the quality is very low. Solder pads that are flaking off or covered in something that needs to be removed before soldering are the primary issues and the pads are microscopic to begin with. Once installed they fly great, betaflight setup is easy, binding is as expected. No issues at all ordering/receiving it from GetFPV though."

"Best customer service out there"

Happymodel Diamond F4

"Great compact, light-weight whoop flight controller. I used it to convert an existing whoop to a Moblite7-style whoop. Motor pads are large enough to make soldering motor wires straight forward. VTX and FRSky receiver are both working fine."

Mark C. (5/5)

Issues

"I bought two, one has a bad voltage meter and ones smart audio doesn't work."

Ashley L. (2/5)

Fantastic!

"Wonderful little whoop AIO. 10/10 would recommend. Had it soldered and in the air in about 2 hours!"

Robert R. (5/5)

Excellent for ultralight builds

"I have purchased 3 of these boards, and I have been fortunate that they still work well (they had the MPU600). I do agree with Mark S. and others that quality control isn't one of HappyModel's strengths. I have seen failures out of the box due to poor soldering and components not touching the pads. Some of this can be fixed with a hot air reflow workstation if you happen to have one."

Ken B. (4/5)

Buyer Beware

"It's hard to trust any Chinese Manufacturer these days. This FC worked for 3 batteries. Then began the problems. Constant jitters. It's not the tune. Not sure if bad gyro or accelorometer but it wouldn't fly. You may get a good one, or you may not. It's all a gamble these days."

Mark S. (1/5)

Great board

"So far I have built 3 tiny whoops with these and all of them work amazing out of the box"

Q&A

Does this version of Frsky work with a standard RadioMaster TX16S? Or is it incompatible and require some kind of re-flashing ?
Yes it will work
Could a Crossfire nano be used and SPI disabled with this FC?
I don’t see why not, it has 2 uarts along with a 5v pad... But honestly the spi rx with a 32.8mm antenna will easily get u 1,800 feet.. and on a 1s battery I believe ur battery power will limit ur distance rather than range of the spi rx
