Take a look at the XRotor F7 Convertible Flight Controller from Hobbywing. This FC is similar to other versions with its OSD, and voltage monitoring, but the F7 now comes with an all-new 5V & 12V dual BEC Circuit and a special interface for the DJI image transmission system. The XRotor F7 Convertible flight controller is equipped with STM32F722 MCU which has a powerful computing ability and fast running speed. High sensitivity ICM20602 six-axis motion sensor, built-in 5V & 12V double BEC, integrated OSD, and a pitch module.
"This flight controler works great. I had to realign the pins from the fc to the esc, but other than that it's cheap and it works just as well as the old one."

So far so good.
"Haven't flown it yet. Everything went well with the install and all functions seem to work. FYI the battery must be plugged in for anything to work. Not crazy about that. Just unplug the vtx before doing your setup, kind of a pain. The 5 volt reg. outputs 5. 2 volts which might be why it cannot be powered by the usb."

Firmware mystery...
"I just received mine from getFpv (June 2022) and the installed firmware was FLYWOOF7DUAL 4.1.1 Nov 15 2019. It was also configured for a hex (#mixer mixer HEX6X). In the "Layout & Different Ports of the FC" section of the manual (section 03) it specifies the correct firmware as HOBBYWING_XROTORF7CONV. However, in the section titled "How to Flash the Firmware" (section 08) it warns "For avoiding any damage to the FC, please do not flash the unit with any firmware besides 'FLYWOOF7DUAL.' I flashed the HOBBYWING_XROTORF7CONV firmware and it seems to be OK, but I haven't had enough air time with it to be certain. The configuration it came with would not have been flyable with a quad. The unit seems to be very well made, it is conformal coated, and the layout makes sense. Regarding plug and play: There are several cables - be certain you check the pin outs before using. The cable that is correct for the HW 60A ESC is the one with the reassigned ground. My first impressions would rate it 5 stars but I reduced it to 4 because of the inconsistency in the manual."
