Desoldering wick is a copper braid used in the rework and repair of printed circuit boards, computers, cell phones or other electronics. Desoldering wick lets you easily remove the extra solder from components or pads on the circuit board. Just press the braid onto the connection with a hot iron and the solder wicks up into the braid.
