Reviews

Solid VTX for the price.

"Solid VTX for the price. Careful, the heatsink easily comes off, and you can damage the MMCX connector if you aren't careful with inserting the antenna. Ripped a connector clean off of one of these."

Unit gets very hot and

"Unit gets very hot and the button is difficult to use to go through and adjust settings. It’s confusing, and I have no idea what power level it is at unless I set it using inav. Otherwise the unit works so I’m good. Probably would go with a TBS vtx next time."

I don't have much experience

"I don't have much experience with this unit, but it does far better than my old unit. The only gripe is while handling the heat sink and thermal pad separated quite a few times, but now that it's installed it mechanically can't do that anymore. Transmission quality is great."

Q&A

Will it work with 6S
It solders to 5 volt out put on flight controller 4 wires I think comes with a barcode link to really good directions
Where can I get the VTX table for this VTX.
In the BF presets tab. Simply search for the Speedybee TX800. Then select the one you want and click done.
Where can I get wiring and setup instructions. Not sure where blue/green wire goes on my Tmotor FC and then how to configure/control the vtx. Small led with various colors and flashing sequences begs for instruction documents not found on speedy bee web.
It could be the wire that needs to go to a uart on the fc
can i use this with the runcam swift 3
Yes you can! The swift takes 3.3v to 5v to power. The tx800 is good from 3.3 to 5.5v. So you can run your camera to the 5v out on the speedybee. Or threw your flight controllers cam pad which more than likely is a 5v pad.. check your fc if there's only a 9v pad you'll have to go straight ti the speedybee. Hope this helps you get off the ground! ~ BudC
