Description

TBS has been at the forefront of perfecting the interface between drone and mind. The TBS Tango 2 changes how remote controls will be from here on out! Despite being the smallest remote control available, it comes with full-size folding HALL sensor gimbals, full-featured FreedomTX (temporary OpenTX fork), the lowest end-to-end latency of any remote and transmission system, unbreakable 3 & 2-position switches, open-source operating system, built-in battery, USB-C charging, and so much more! It's not just a retouched game controller, it was designed from the ground up for R/C! The form factor and features make it the ideal take-anywhere, fly-anytime remote control.

Crossfire Inside
The first radio with TBS Crossfire built-in. This significantly lowers your cost, increases reliability, and minimizes setup time. And the cherry on top are the LUA scripts being part of the familiar user interface. The antenna swivels out of the way or doubles as a kick-stand when resting. TBS Cloud ready to go from the start. It all just makes sense.

TBS

"First fpv controller and i love the size and haven’t had any issues with it. Does feel a little cheap in the hands as far as build quality but not a huge issue"

Best Radio Out there

"I personally can't stand the feel of traditional large radios but this feels like a high-quality game controller. The controls are a little difficult to use but once set up you'll be glad you have something small to carry."

Clark Y. (4/5)

TBS Tango 2

"Absolutely satisfied with the quality and price. Also satisfied with the support service. Because I pre-ordered and had to wait 1~2 months. But it was worth it)"

My First Radio - Watching YouTube for Initial Setup

"This is my first radio and the range is incredible on the default settings, 25mw. I have friends getting failsafe midflight while using FrSky and ELRS. This RC is capable of going up to 1000mw (1W) broadcast signal which supposedly can get you miles for range. Upgrading the firmware is very easy using the TBS Agent Lite. Once you upgrade you will need to rebind your quads and the Tango 2 will automatically update the NanoRX firmware on the drone. I would advise watching some YouTube video for setup. Make sure you controller is setup for FCC mode and AETR1234 channel mapping."

Best transmitter on the market

"Tango 2 is so worth the wait. Old mate was on backorder for a while but I landed one soon as it was back in stock, works magic with the TBS Crossfire receivers. Put one on each of my custom iFlight builds and also use it with the Baby Nazgul."

Lovely little controller, heaps of

"Lovely little controller, heaps of features for the price point and it has a solid build quality. Only complaint is with the tiny screen, but it’s still workable."

Maddi L. (4/5)

Swing...and a miss.

"Not thrilled by battery life. Mine never seems to fully charge according to on screen indicator. The screen is also too small and very difficult to read in bright sunlight. You'll constantly be trying to shade or angle the screen to read anything. Also noticed a fair amount of burn in/ghosting from text on the screen just from short flight or bench sessions. Im confused by the poor quality and design choice in this department. Because of this, configuring this remote is a giant chore. All in all, this is an extremely expensive replica controller that should perform well if you like sitting inside playing drone simulators on your PC."

STELLAR support from GETFPV, GREAT transmitter!

"Listen, this is by far the best crossfire transmitter "on the market" right now. The build quality is a 8/10 (not quite as robust as an XBOX One controller but it's close) but the actual experience is a 10/10. The learning curve is steep if you are just getting started with FPV like I am but it's not impossible if you aren't afraid to play with it. However, this transmitter is in such a high demand, it's next to impossible to find in stock. I ordered mine March 8th, 2021 and didn't receive it until May 9th, 2021. During that time I reached out to GetFPV 3 separate times looking for an update and received a response within 24 hours (sometimes within just 3-4 hours). GetFPV also posted an update on the actual product page saying when they expected more to be in stock. These units are selling for almost 2X MSRP on eBay. If you are leaning towards the Tango 2, don't settle for anything else. Just preorder it and wait - it's worth it."

Sweet Radio

"This is my first radio that I have bought. It seems to be working great! I have just been using velocidrone but can't wait to start actually flying. Hoping that binding goes smoothly!"
