The antenna looks cool, but the range wasn't as expected.

"The antenna looks intimidatingly long, but there is about as good a range as stock. The issue is that the gain on these antennas is about 1.9 dB according to TrueRC. My previous antenna was 2dB. The antenna also weighs more than my Mammoda, so it is noticeable for battery life. It is still a worthwhile upgrade."

"TrueRC makes some of the best antennas available in my opinion, and RDQ has the best selection of those. The carbon edition of the matchstick antenna looks incredible on my quad. The length is perfect for getting clear of the battery for the best range. This antenna is super durable, and flexible enough to survive many good crashes."

Solid, flexible enough to bend

"Solid, flexible enough to bend slightly to contour but stiff enough to not bend during fast acro. Range is superb, better than my 3.5db Omni of another make. Looks fantastic, I have the shirt on my freestlye Skitzo QAVR2 and the longs on my FRH 6”"

Nice compliment to my TruRC stubbies on the goggle.

"Got this to extend my antenna above the battery when flying longer ranges. seems to have helped a bit, but it's hard to get a dirct comparison witoout flying the exact same location, and not through trees like I have been. The cable is bendy, but holds shape well enough if you are looking to put a little bend in it. I extended my mmcx to RPSMA from the air unit, and put a singularity stubby on there when flying close, and swap to this longer matchstick when flying further."
