Radial Play
"Yeah... they look good.... and I have them flying fine, at the moment. The problem: Radial Play in the shaft/bell. I have 5 of these motors, and they all exhibit the same behavior. I asked Axis to comment, but they declined. I expect the bearings to wear out very quickly. I have a lot of motors - the only ones that have ever had radial (side-to-side) slop are like 10 years old... or a Cobra-branded motor that were the worst in the world. Anyway, Axis wants to be regarded as a "premium" manufacturer, but clearly can't get a hold of their QC issues or whatever their problem is."
