Hastely built and made

"Its an okay upgrade kit considering the avata 1 is all cheap injection mold plastic. However, Axis flying has changed some aspects of the kit from their tutorials. It appears that they made changes and mistakes were made. The carbon fiber has screw reliefs on the wrong side compared to the thread lockers. If you follow the thread locker direction, the screw recesses for the plate are upside down and vice versa. You have to follow the thread locker direction or the downward vision sensor will just pop off. I know, because I did. The ruined vision sensor cost me more than the kit."

Nice upgrade

"With a little patience and some soldering skills, this kit will produce a much better performing quad out of your AVATA. You'll need to add different motors such as the Axisflying C157-2. This kit comes with everything else you need. Many detailed step by step videos which explain the modifying/assembling procedure are available online. A nice upgrade but not for the inexperienced quad builder."

In process… waiting on replacement gimbal rubbers

"I’m still in the process of building, so I can’t state first-hand how it flies. That said, the online reviews for that are great. So why am I writing this now? If you’re comfortable with soldering and building stuff, that part works pretty well. My big complaint is that the kit could really use replacement gimbal rubbers. This is definitely one of the most tedious/fragile parts of the build and I tore one of the three in the process of pulling it through with the included wire. Axis Flying: I’d rather spend an extra $10 or $15 and get those rubbers in the package than have to stop halfway through, order replacements, pay for additional shipping, and wait a week to complete the build. From the comments online, I’m not alone here. Considering that rubber degrades more rapidly than other parts, it’s silly to not include replacements as part of the build."

Great Service

"I did a review video on my YouTube channel @thefenixfpv and I mention your company. Check it out."

Jayson B. (5/5)

A little difficult but not impossible

"The whole process took about four hours but it was worth it, I got a much lighter and more agile drone."

Q&A

Does this come with new motors? Or do you need to add 4 new motors to complete the kit?
No, no motors no props
