Solidly built, at the cost of weight
"I reserve 5-stars for an absolutely perfect drone, so don't think this is a bad drone by any means. I've only had it a couple of days, so keep that in mind. That said: it's big. And less in physical size, more in weight - everything you've probably seen in YouTube reviews is true. It's very heavy, so if you need a sub-250g drone, this isn't it. . . but, it is VERY solidly built. Bouncing off of most objects will be of no consequence at all. Falling from a great height? Maybe more so. Initial setup was fine. I did have 2 motors that were spinning backwards, but that was an easy fix and something everyone should always check. Interesting to me as the initial test flight video was found inside of the internal storage, and it flew just fine there! It does handle reasonably well, and this is coming from someone with a decent amount of hours in a GEPRC Vapor X5. I flew initially with a 2200 mAh battery, and that was just too darn big for it. It's already chunky as it is, the last thing it needs is more weight. I grabbed some 1300 mAh batteries and that seemed to be a relative sweet spot, and I was getting upwards of 6-7 minutes of mild freestyling out of that. The SD card being buried in the frame with no easy access is a bit of a bummer, but lets be honest. . . once you get it in, you won't need to worry about it. The USB-C port on the back to access your drive is handy, at least. I will say that closing it back up was a mild pain, as they put some TPU 3D printed buffers of sorts in between the posts near the hinge, and the fit was so tight that it took some effort to realign them, but it wasn't too bad. The color is striking, and that LED strip does look fantastic. Overall, this is a very refined and sturdily built drone. . . but don't expect to be winning any races with it."
