All products with batteries must be shipped by a ground shipping method.

After the latest round of beta testing, the LiteRadio 2 SE is back to the market with huge improvements. This pint size FRSKY radio is powered by OpenTX firmware and can toggle between FRSKY D16 and D8 protocols. Real gimbals provide the tactile feedback of a pricier radio and USB connectivity can be used to play FPV simulators on a computer. The LiteRadio 2 SE is a great option for anyone looking for a lower cost radio with some great features.

Some new improvements include...

  • Built-in 1000 mAh 1S battery, LiteRadio 2 SE increases the endurance to 8 hours.
  • Updates with BETAFPV self-developed LiteRadio System. Pilots can directly operate the Joystick Calibration and Upgrade Firmware on the radio transmitter.
  • Supports Frsky D8, Frsky D16 FCC and Frsky D16 LBT mode via the radio transmitter.
  • Comes with 100mW transmitting power, LiteRadio 2 SE brings a wider operating range.

This radio does not support newer FrSky receiver firmware.

Features

  • LiteRadio 2 SE upgrades with BETAFPV self-developed Customized LiteRadio System. Pilots can directly operate the Joystick Calibration and Firmware Update on the radio transmitter, which is more convenient for the beginner racer to operate.
  • Equipped with a built-in 1000 mAh 1S battery, LiteRadio 2 SE can use up to 8 hours, bringing an excellent endurance performance.
  • Comes with a built-in charging module, LiteRadio 2 SE can support USB charging which is more convenient to use. Meanwhile, it designs a Low-Power warning to indicate a low battery. While it needs to be re-charged, the blue light will flash slowly.
  • Compared with the LiteRadio 2, LiteRadio 2 SE has a larger transmitting power which can reach 100mW, bringing a wider operating range.
  • Adopted the rubber coat, LiteRadio 2 SE is ergonomic and has the shape of a gaming controller. It's comfortable to hold, and the anti-slip texture on the handles allows for a solid grip.
  • This radio transmitter acts as a USB Joystick when connected to a personal computer. So you could use it to play FPV simulators like EREADRONE.

Great for beginners

"Great range. Just started and it works perfectly. Great beginner radio."

Owen S. (4/5)

Could never get it to

"Could never get it to work on DLR Simulator using a MAC so I returned it. It could be a great unit; I really don't know. I never got a chance to use it before I returned it."

"Great quality and performance for a begginer."

"Only used it on PC for a simulator but it works great for that."

"It's compact and easy to hold. Not like them big radios witch you need some sort of strap to keep it in the preference you desire"

Julio F. (4/5)

It won't bind to anything

"It won't bind to anything and won't stay calibrated so I ended up buying a tbs tango 2 pro"

ROSWELL H. (3/5)

This is a great little

"This is a great little radio at a great price- super easy to set up and very responsive. I got one for each of my emax tinyhawks to replace the poor radio that came with them- a great upgrade for a very reasonable price. A neckstrap connection would have rated it 5 stars"

Tom L. (4/5)

Battery doesn’t charge

"Works well for flying tiny whoop in my apartment. I got the SE version and it does not charge via the usb c port. I need to disassemble the back in order to take out the battery and charge separately."

Davis L. (3/5)

Had to turn up the

"Had to turn up the dead zones because they are a bit jittery and don’t alway returning to true center. For the money they work well but I would strongly recommend something more accurate."

Q&A

Does this works with frsky xm+ ? Im novice and If it's not, what radio (cheapest) works?
Specifically you can only bind with Frsky D16 and D8 HOWEVER , if you want to use this transmitter (which I really like ) . Consider buying a Radiomaster R81 Receiver and wiring it to the Sbus connection on the flight controller. Then your all in for about $ 65 YOU MUST BE PROFICIENT IN USING BETA FLIGHT ! Good luck
I want a cheap transmitter for a friend learning freestyle... what kind of range can i expect with this radio?
100 yards tops. This is not the radio you'd want for range. Happy flying!
what receiver should i buy? Can you recommend me a model?
If you want something you can grow with, the radiomaster tx16s is a great transmitter with a bit of a learning curve. If you want something a bit simpler, smaller, and less expensive, the LiteRadio 2 SE transmitter is a solid choice.
Does this work with cinewhoops?
Any drone that uses Frsky
How do I select BAYUNG protocol on the LITERADIO 2 SE that came with my CETUS kit. All advertisement says it supports the protocol but I'm unable to select it. Want to fly my "toys" ..HS210 etc. Thanks Michael
Please contact us at Support@racedayquads.com and we will help you get it bound.
I think I misunderstood, this frsky version can do bayang? I bought it because I have two drones, one bayang and one d8. The d8 works, but now that I'm looking at the manual it doesn't have bayang. Is there a way to pair it with bayang?
There are two versions, the bayang and the frsky literadio. The frsky radio does not support bayang and vice versa.
