Features

  • Nothing quite beats the experience of flying Cetus X with an enhanced propulsion system, and longer radio and video transmission. With a very functional and potential remote controller and FPV goggles, pilots can unlock more accomplishments to the next level.
  • Two FC versions are offered for pilots. With the support of the Betaflight configurator, beginners can learn quadcopter configuration through the Betaflight FC version. For pilots who prefer the classical Cetus, the Cetus FC version with an altitude hold function is also coming soon.
  • Classical white design inherited from Cetus Series and made of PA12 material, the Cetus X frame has an excellent impact resistance in drop & impact and reduces the risk of damage, giving you more peace of mind.
  • The 360° protection of the whoop frame ensures safe flights both indoors and outdoors. Meanwhile, the FPV camera supports 0°-40° adjustable degrees, which provides different views for pilots.
  • LiteRadio 3 reserves a nano bay that supports the external TX module for the compatibility of more quadcopters. And the VR03 FPV goggles which are newly added a Micro SD card slot to save the video with DVR recording, support most Analog VTXs in the market.
  • The quadcopter, radio transmitter, FPV goggles, and all of the accessories are packed in an EVA portable storage bag. It is convenient to carry outside and better to protect the equipment.

Powerful Propulsion System

Equipped with 1103 11000KV Brushless Motors and Gemfan 2020 4-blade props, the Cetus X Brushless Quadcopter delivers powerful propulsion, making it a 2S power whoop drone with some real punch to it. The whole quadcopter is light and durable enough, offering pilots a high-efficiency flight experience.

Recording Every Flight Moment

Newly developed by BETAFPV, and based on VR02 FPV Goggles, the VR03 FPV Goggles take features of VR02 and come with a DVR recording function. Pilots can enjoy the playback saved through the goggles or export the videos by Micro SD card. This exciting function allows pilots to catch the memorably breathtaking moment, greatly heightening the FPV flying experience.

Improved Video Transmission

Cetus X Brushless Quadcopter comes with M04 25-400mW VTX and C04 FPV camera. M04 25-450mW VTX features a lightweight and adjustable output power for long-distance flying. Combining this VTX and the excellent radio link ExpressLRS 2.4G, pilots can fly whoop drones longer to explore more possibilities and have fun. In addition, the C04 FPV camera (based on Caddx Nano Ant Camera/Runcam Nano 4) shows better quality in FPV flight compared with the C02 FPV camera.

LiteRadio 3 Radio Transmitter

This transmitter features an ergonomically designed handle and has superb performance in its working time, a newly updated gimbal. Besides, this version supports BETAFPV Configurator, which is a utility designed to simply update, configure, and tune the radio controller. Experience the thrill of total immersion with unrivaled control and capture the world around you.

FPV Simulator Supported

First time flying a quadcopter? You can learn and practice flying a quadcopter through an FPV simulator before real flying. LiteRadio 1 supports playing FPV simulators like DRL/DCL/Uncrashed/Liftoff. LiteRadio 1 is capable of practicing and charging at the same time. Check out the Liftoff flying demonstration here. Download Liftoff here.

Various Modes, Accessible to All

Cetus X supports Angle/Horizon/Air Modes, which can satisfy the different needs of pilots and adapt to various flight environments. When the quadcopter falls to the ground and upside down, you can activate turtle mode by LiteRadio 3 transmitter to flip it over and resume flying. Whether you're a seasoned FPV pilot or a complete beginner, the Cetus X FPV Kit helps anyone fly confidently from day one.

BETAFPV Cetus Series

The BETAFPV Cetus Series has been very popular since its release in 2021 and become the primary FPV choice for new beginners. Whether propulsion system, radio transmitter, VTX range, or other functions, BETAFPV never stops step to make the product better. From the initial Cetus to Cetus X so far, Cetus Series always satisfies customers' needs no matter new beginners or seasoned pilots.

A fun starter set, you

"A fun starter set, you will need more batteries but it is a good fun time"

Brett B. (5/5)

great first drone

"Great first drone but need a lot of space because this one is powerful. If indoor or small space get a smaller one."

Jeff R. (5/5)

Build Like A Tank

"Great for beginners and can take a beating. Never flown manual, and didn’t want to use my Avata to learn. I have crashed this drone hard, and the worst thing that has happened to it, is the camera cable coming unplugged. Highly recommend this drone."

good but bad at the same time

"i ordered one as my first drone, very nice. after 2 weeks the controller it came with got stick lag. i got a lite radio 3 pro. its kinda good but the sticks are stiff and the throttle is really stiff. anyway i kept flying and getting in the hobby then the board fried. the motors also suck. they get wont even start sometimes and may shut off mid flight. BetaFPV has a horrible quality control allmoust everything they make has a bad quality control. but i got bored one day so i modified the cetus X and fitted a Runcam Phoenix 2 SE. i liked it but it had horrible vtx signal. i upgraded the antenna and it was the same thing. then i realized the vtx the cetus comes with is a chinesse cheap ass VTX that overheats every 10 seconds. so i snatched that thing off and replaced it with a Rush FPV TANK SOLO vtx. now it has more signal. 1.6W to be exact and it works great. i wouldn´t buy this again or as a first drone. the googles are trash. the controller is trash and the drone is good but their quality control its trash. if you buy it replace the motors. the batteries too as they will inflate after a week. if your controller breaks just get a Zorro or another brand controller. dont buy betafpv products for daily use. they wont work correctly"

Cetus x

"I bought this drone and it came in today I got it in the air practiced and had fun then charged the batteries I came back to fly it and when I started it up it started smoking and fried the battery and it wouldn’t start."

Cetus x

"Just like an x girlfriend use it for a little while and toss out the frame it breaks almost immediately. Other than that it’s a fast quad may need some fine-tuning goggles are OK reception but very dim you can’t really see it’s very dark sometimes or most of the time."

Q&A

The camera on the drone broke and I can’t see with the goggles anymore is there a way for me to just switch out the camera?
You can buy the camera alone if it broke. Also, is the camera lens cracked, or did the connection just come undone? That happened to me.
