Burn baby burn

"First 2 packs went fine. Accidentally set it to angle mode on first two packs so the third pack went full acro. It got up about 4 feet and fell out of the sky. Set it back up same thing and when it came down the esc was smoking. It was a brand new stack, brand new motors, brand new everything. Gonna order another one cheap from another company and see if I get the same results. I know that no joints where touching and it was only running 4s. Esc is toast now anyways. I was kinda leary when I heard these where used in tyro birds but for the price thought I would try it."

You can't update Betaflight on this.

"I must warn against buying this stack. I have this setup in my Darwin 129 7 inch quad and the Betaflight firmware is such a hassle to flash. The board target is not auto detected - target MATEKF405 does not even exist - they say you can use MATEK405STD as the target, but I believe this is a slightly different board with different resource mapping. I've used that target to flash 4.4 and it appeared to be working, my motors were spinning correctly, receiver and VTX were working fine - but the GPS and barometer are having major issues now. GPS is not even detected, and with the barometer enabled the flight controller refuses to even boot with an everlasting CALIB flag. I'm probably going to flash back to Darwin's OE firmware because I'm just sick of messing with it, and GPS functionality is important to me. I'm sure it's fine as a cheap stack, but just keep in mind you may be stuck with whatever version of betaflight Darwin ships this with, I believe it's 4.2 or 4.1. If you want to attempt to flash this, first look at UART1 and make sure there are no devices setup on it (GPS, smart audio, anything), it took me a long time to realize that the bootloader function will hang if anything is setup in Betaflight on UART1."
