Description

CineApe25 is DarwinFPV’s first cinematic whoop FPV drone. The frame is composed of upper and lower carbon plates and a high-strength injection guard, which is very strong and crash-resistant, and easy to disassemble. The motor adopts a 1504-3600KV long-life motor; we abandoned the traditional AIO solution and adopted the split design of the F4, 30A stack to reduce the maintenance cost in the future. The accessories adopt mature and stable solutions to maximize the durability and reliability of the drone.

      Elrs Issues

"Firstly. The drone flys very well and met my expectations in that regard. However the elrs gave me fits. Flashed firmware to 3. X to be compatible with my radio. I ended up soldering on a spare receiver and all is good now. I look forward to attempting some cinematic style flying."

Cineape for the win! Darwin Cineape25, sick drone

"Insane drone for the price. Incredibly built, has freestyle capabilities, rips about 40-60 mph depending on battery and props. I run wider 63mm tri bladed props for less vibration and drag. I use 850 40c and 100c batteries and get about 8:25 seconds of fly time. Cruising/hovering I can probably get more than 10 minutes"

      Sergio F. (5/5)

      Smooth

"It's one of my best flying drones I own. It's flies smooth and stable and can freestyle with no problem. I run a 4s 750mah battery on it and it flies beautiful."

      Stephen M. (5/5)

      Budget Cinewhoop

"For the cost this flies amazingly well. Carries naked GoPro, GO2, and RunCam thumb pro well. My only complaints are the analog CADDX Ant camera isn’t the best. It lacks detail when flying around branches and other fine objects. The VTX also is not so great (lacks power) and do not like the Ufl dipole antenna. I like the frame design and smooth flight I get."

      Kendrick W. (4/5)

      Flies well right out of

"Flies well right out of the box."

      Andrei B. (5/5)

      OK...mostly

"Ok mostly. Plugged in & connected to BF, was setup to go into angle when armed, made a couple changes to OSD, did a couple flights. Battery leads seam a little short and janky thin gauge so I swapped with some a little thicker and longer. The battery straps are a pain to move around and setup differently, pre-cut slots are tight, and the cap was in way so I moved that too and stuck it on the xt30 for more strap room. The ant cam sucks so I slapped baby ratel in, personal preference mostly but havent met anyone that likes the ant. With keeping all those things in mind it ain't bad for the dough$$. It can be flown out of box basically, but more enjoyable with a few mods. Had an oops and needed to change out the elrs antenna and took a while to get old one out of the reciever because it was potted in there with some thick silicone type of compound. Seems like good stuff of you dont need to mess with replacing antenna. Flew decent on factory tune but ill be tuning it for my piloting. Maiden flight was with a 4S 1500 while i waited for new lipos to get here. Could tell it was heavy....but it did it."

      Im in love

"This thing is powerfull, its not expensive and it flyes perfect. Its not for freestyle but it get you there. Nice wire management and overall design"

      Nicolas C. (5/5)

For the price it’s all thumbs up

"I was looking for something with a bit bigger frame than a 85mm whoop to carry a naked GoPro. I think this will work. Looks like a quality design/build. Can’t beat it for the price. I’m planning on changing the VTX and camera from the suggestions in the other reviews but as of now I’m happy with it."

      Elrs nightmare

"Analog video tx is trash. Maybe good for 50 yards before static sets in. Absolute nightmare trying to flash elrs software with this and zorro tx."

      Russ (3/5)

      This thing is a tank,

"This thing is a tank, very tough and fun to fly"

      John C. (5/5)

      Q&A

Has anyone found a way to mount a 19x19mm camera to this frame? If so, how did you get it done?
No you cannot fit a 19mm camera into this quad.
