Elrs firmware update

"Flies great. Pretty quiet so you wont wake or bother the neighbors! Only issue is that the flight controller still comes with ELRS 2.0. So if you are new (like myself) to fpv and have a new radio it will be a pain in the butt figuring out how to get this little bug up in the sky.. on the other hand, it was a great lesson on flashing firmware and researching information. But for people who are impatient and aren't really good with computers - I wish you luck!"

Was having fun with it

"Was having fun with it but broke a motor shaft in a small crash with a flimsy tree branch. Replacements from DarwinFPV take about two weeks to arrive. I'd suggest getting some better motors right away. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with the power. ELRS and a 400mw VTX gives plenty of range. There wasn't any tune out of the box. DarwinFPV has a CLI dump posted on their website, but it gives errors even on the same Betaflight version. I updated Betaflight anyway to get ELRS 3. Had to try a few different tune presets to get a smooth feel. Overall a nice quad, just a shame that the motors are so fragile."

Very Poor Motor Quality

"Love the size and Handling of this drone but very very disappointed in the quality of the motors. 3 out of 4 motors broke the shaft in a very minor crash I would not personally recommend the drone unless you plan on getting better quality motors almost immediately."

Generally Mediocre but Motor Shafts are Awful

"Flown the Tiny Ape about 30 packs and had the motor shaft fracture in two giving me a convertible motor. This is no Baby Apr but smaller. I LOVE my Baby Ape(s) but find this quad to be mediocre. On paper it looks good but it needs higher KV motors or bigger ones to bring up the excitement a but AND they need to get a supplier that makes better shafts because they will shatter if you ever crash hard. Looking for better motors to bring this quad to life because the rest of it is nice."

Only get if your tx is expresslrs 2.0

"Internal rx comes with expresslrs 2.0 and there's no way to update it to 3.0 You have to solder on your own rx if your tx is 3.0"

Great starter drone.

"Bought this drone to practice before buying a 5". It responds amazing and Flys great. Frame is durable and still strong after several crashes. I would strongly recommend it for a beginner or even a practice drone."
