Description

The Glide Floss is built to work for you. While it comes in nicer carbon with pretty finishes, its focus is convenience and compatibility rather than aesthetics. The arms are also easy to swap so you can go back and forth. This design comes from the legacy of Hyperlite and Floss frames with optimizations over all freestyle frames in the series before it. If you’re running a Flowride or FlosStyle, we know you love them but overall this design is better balanced, easier to build and maintain, stronger and comes in better carbon.

  • One central 30x30/20x20 mounting platform flanked by two 20x20 platforms all accessible at all times with no interference.
  • No stack screws touch any arm parts. No arm/stack integration.
  • Two screws per independent arm with bracing against other arms. Easy swaps and secure fit.
  • 23mm standoffs (fits vista with low cam tilt, 25mm recommended for DJI standard cam)
  • GoPro mount platform compatible with legacy FlossStyle and Flowride mounts.
  • 12.9 hardness steel screws and steel press-nuts because ain't nobody got time for stripped aluminum. (switched back to black because it’s stronger)
  • Micro and Nano sized FPV camera spacing (20mm wide or narrower)

"This is my favorite frame now. Love the hardware and how tightly everything fits. Easy arm replacement. This frame has a good tolerance to crashes. But the main reason I like it so much is how balanced it feels when flying. This frame just made my quad fly 10 times better than the one it replaced. Highly recommend for anyone beginner to pro. "Super nice frame. Lightweight and well designed. Perfect for the Caddx Vista and the Nebula Pro. The motor protection on this frame is hard to beat. Would also rather break an arm than break a motor, as the frame is designed. But still, the arms themselves are pretty durable on their own."

50 packs so far, flies well and going strong

"I probably have about fifty packs through this frame, mostly freestyling it in woodsy areas. So far it's been durable, and the vibration characteristics seem to be great! Only possible hang up with it is the runcam wasp is a bit tall for the frame, so it takes some creativity to stop it from hitting the top and bottom of the frame. When it touches the frame the jello is horrible, but it's not to difficult to fix. One of the things I did was put some thick double sided tape on the bottom plate so the bottom of the camera has vibration dampening."

Broke an Arm on Maiden

"Pretty weird crash that didn't feel too rough, but broke an arm. Ordered a replacement from FPVCycle directly and haven't broken another arm yet. It's possible there was a fault in the first arm. The frame has minimal resonance and is quite a smooth flight."

Best Frame For The Money In FPV.

"So in the world of 5” freestyle there are many good quality frames on the market like the apex, Qav, Armattan, and quadmula. Firstly quality the glide uses very good high quality carbon. Not as good as the apex or quadmula but better than the Qav. Secondly excellent frame design that simple. The arms are very tight and locked in. And lastly the price is perfect. At 50$ it’s half the price of an apex, and about $25 less than the quadmula and Qav. Therefore to me the glide is the best because it checks off all the major boxes at half the cost of the other frames so you don’t have to worry about breaking the quad. A+++"
