Here are some guidelines for how much current a size will handle from Oscar Liang:

  • 2mm connectors - up to 20A
  • 3.5mm connectors - up to 40A
  • 4mm connectors - up to 70A
  • 6mm connectors - up to 120A
  • 8mm connectors - up to 200A
