Ricar P. (5/5)

tiny antennas, big range

"Seems to be real solid receiver. Range testing has been 100 as long as i minimize all the trees. Ive installed 2 of these and may swap a lesser..simple setup and worth the extra 5bucks to stick whats worked for me"

Jason W. (5/5)

Best receiver for the money

"I've flown the EP1 and EP2. The one with the ceramic antenna is great for a small quad but not for a 5 inch where you'll really want to stretch it's legs. The other one has the one singular antenna and it definitely gets good reception. This one beats them both. By a long ways. I have a field roughly 400 to 500 yards long. And from one end of the field I can get to the other without losing signal with all three of the happymodel receivers. The difference is the db. At 500 hz the ceramic will be real close to failsafe. The single antenna will have roughly 6 to 10 db more room. This true diversity? 20. Easy. At this price there is no reason to use anything else. Excellent receiver."

Matias G. (4/5)

Awesome

"Great range!"

Charles D. (5/5)

Works great

"You don't have to hold your breath anymore when doing an LR flight and U turn for home and your link quality drops from 98 to 60 in half a second (lol). A mile and a half out and my lq never dipped below 94%. The only head scratchers for me are why so long to get to wifi mode the 1st time(60 sec?), and why is the "bound" light now red?? Once you sort out these technological "enhancements" it's all good."
