Still one of the better 2s whoops

"This is my second HM Mobula8 2s drone - 1st one lasted quite awhile until I messed up the FC. It's fine at stock settings - but I had the urge to tweak my first one, to my sorrow. It flies as a true whoop; not drifty like freestyle setup, nor heavy like the Acrobee 75 2s (the Acrobee flies/moves like a heavier drone like a 3-5 inch freestyle drone). While it doesn't have as much 'whoop float' in the air like a 65mm or 75mm whoop, it is there and can be felt as one flies. I give this a 4star as I personally like a rubberband type battery holder, instead of a molded battery tray - still it holds my 2s Tattu batteries tight enough."

Fun little whoop!

"Fun to fly! a bit puttsy pairing ELRS but that has nothing to do with this specific model."

Ben S. (5/5)

Flies like a 5 inch

"I've only been flying 5-inch and have really missed smaller drones like the whoops I learned on. This one has a similar power to weight and feel of a 5-inch. It allows me to have fun in smaller areas and try new tricks and crash w/o consequences. The batteries I'm using fit very well. They are the "Gaoneng GNB 7. 6V 2S 530mAh 90C LiHV Micro Battery (Long Type) - XT30""

This has got to be

"This has got to be my favorite whoop as well as the one I will recommend to anyone looking to get into the hobby. Eventually I transferred the parts over to a carbon fiber frame (hglrc draknight, had to use a rotary tool to expand holes for the motor to mount but. . ) this is arguably my favorite quadcopter. Perfect little ripper for flying smaller freestyle spots. Lastly, I will say that I've had some truly fantastic luck with this HappyModel X12 flight controller, built like a brick. . but it seems like there's no in between. . talking with other pilots, it seems you either get one built like glass or one built like a tank. . in fact my very first one was pretty fragile but haven't had a problem with the new one."

Ryan H. (4/5)

"flies amazing line of sight, But i can not get it to connect to my Fatshark dominater goggles."

Eli (3/5)

"I did NOT mean to buy the PNP options but, I have 0 experience with soldering, this was my first solder and it was a breeze, you will need an external ELRS for this but, in my opinion over SPI its worth it. Flys amazingly"

Austin (5/5)

Great Whoop!

"I bought this because I was struggling to find spots for my 3" and 5" quads nearby. This makes flying without leaving the house possible and makes the outdoors so much bigger! Handles a lot like a 5" and as such, still has a bit much power for indoors for my liking, but definitely doable."

Daniel P. (5/5)

Awesome little flying 2S quad

"Awesome little flying 2S quad very reasonable price for bnf"

Joe J. (5/5)

What a blast.

"After 10 packs frame was cracked. 30 packs I had somehow lost a component on the board. After that it was a no-go. Bought another one.. I modified the frame with some foam. Now it is indestructible. I added 2.12 G. i cannot tell any weight difference after. A bad dinner May cost you more than this thing. Buy one."

Bill G. (5/5)

Great bnf

"Flew great right out of the box very happy with the quad."

Q&A

It says all preorders shipping ASAP does that mean you guys are waiting for =more inventory or do you guys actually have it and stated that it will ship as soon as the order has been made?
Analog BNFs have been delayed until mid to late June due to a shortage of analog VTX chips.
do you know when the pre-orders would ship?
The HappyModel BNFs have been delayed until mid to late June due to a shortage of analog VTX chips.
Hello, I have the new Mobula 8 UART ELRS, however on the box it does not say UART ELRS just ELRS. I did not purchase it from you but from Happymodel. They have not responded to me. Is there a way to check that in BFC? Thank you for your help. soky157
You would just look at the FC. If the RX is external then it is set up through UART in BetaFlight and bound via ELRS configurator. If it is internal it is SPI and would be bound through BetaFlight.
