Description

This Slim Pro TX module is designed by Happymodel and based on the open-source  ExpressLRS which is a very popular low latency and high packet rate RF module for RC Airplane and FPV Racing drones. Its main hardware architecture is ESP32, ESP8285, and SX1280 RF chip. The ES24TX Slim Pro module is a complete solution which is already pre-load the Expresslrs firmware and its plug-and-play for Frsky X-lite/X-lite pro/X9 Lite, TBS Tango2.
This Slim Pro module comes with an aluminum alloy shell and is equipped with a cooling fan that automatically works when the module is working at 250mw.
The slim pro-TX module supports a maximum power output of about 1000mw, this would be very useful for Long Range FPV.

The EP2RX died in mid air on 2nd flight

"After spending an entire day researching, learning, downloading, and updating my tx and rx, I got them installed and working. I was shaking out PID/filter settings on the new build - taking it very easy. A minute through the second pack, it just fell out of the air. It was a 10-foot drop into grass, so no mechanical shock. I power-cycled the quad and the receiver LED was dead, as was my control link. I metered my 5v pad on my fc and it’s good. 5v is making its way to the rx pads too. It just died. I’m still on 4S and I’m running a big capacitor. Not a great start into my ELRS buy-in."

Amazing slim module

"I've been using this on my xlite pro and I love it. The case has FAR higher build quality than I expected. It's a solid aluminium shell and is super tough. The cnc work looks great and there's no sharp edges anywhere. You still have the option to open it up if you need to access the dip switches. My only complaint is that the antenna that comes with it doesn't seem to be the most resilient, I'll probably swap it out to something higher quality in the future. I would 100% recommend it if you need a slim ELRS module."

Will this fit and work on my Zorro 4-and-1? I thought my Zorro had ELRS built in but doesn't seem to work.
Yes, it works. I have one in my Zorro 4in1. The Zorro 4in1 doesn't not have an internal ELRS TX radio. You will need this TX module.
What receivers do you use with this module?
Any ELRS 2.4GHz receiver should bind with this unit, provided that you have matching firmware versions loaded. Happy flying!
Early versions of this module had problems with telemetry not working properly out of the box. Has this issue been fixed?
Yes I do believe this issue has been fixed.
