Q&A

Can this be powered successfully with a 3.3V DC input so it could be powered via FC USB?
Mine is connected via connector not hard wired to a speedy bee f7 v3 fc and does power on when connected to laptop via USB. As far as I know the USB connected to a laptop puts out 5V USB 2.0 max current is 500mA. USB 3.0 max current is 900mA.
whay not battery for backup on this gps
I'm not sure, would definitely be nice if it got satellite lock a bit faster. Works well otherwise though.
