wiring harness
"got this hooked up in my new drone build. first off the wiring harness sucks bad lol it feels like building a drone 10 years ago where the manufacturers where still learning what not to do. this is my dream style of FC i so hope they make a v3 and keep making this better and better. hands down in time this could become the most amazing fc ever made if they add solder pads to hook up are electronics. NewBeeDrone if you read this plz keep making this style of FC you are so close to having the best fc in the world. i recommend making this fc thicker and putting your solder pads under the motor pads coming out the front or back to help protect the wires in a crash."

just got it
"first off this is so so beautiful. i would love to see more fc making fc like this. first off i would love to see solder pads to hook stuff up to not a big fan of the plug and play. hope they make a v3 that is bigger and solder pads = ) usb c would be nice also. i can not wait to fly this just waiting on my new frame to arrive. i only buy this for the way it looks building a sexy drone this drone will be for looks lol god i need a life you know you have way to many drones when your starting to build drones just to look sexy on your wall lol lol"

I want to like it.
"I have wanted this AIO since V1 and honestly, it performs just as beautifully as I dreamed. HOWEVER, on light to heavy crashes, my FC freezes, and I cannot re-arm without a power cycle. After e-mailing NBD, they told me that when this happens to plug it into betaflight, without unplugging the lipo, to read warnings. When I do this though, BF will not read the board without a power cycle either. This is a giant disappointment and negates the 95% that it flies without an issue."

Flies Great - I Just Want BetaFlight 4.3 to be Supported
"The AIO V2 is a really cool product. Everything went well with my build, and the heat sink is securely mounted to the board. Be aware that this AIO is designed to be mounted with the battery pads coming out the left side of the quad (since there aren’t any indications on the FC, I accidentally built it with the battery pads facing the back, which is typical). There are two things about this product that will likely keep me from buying another (at least for now): First, Betaflight 4.3 is now out, but (at least mine) this is shipped with 4.2.x, and it doesn’t appear in the drop down list in Betaflight Configurator, which means NewBeeDrone needs to release a 4.3 build. I haven’t been able to find a 4.3 build up to this point, despite going to the NewBeeDrone GitHub page trying to find one. Not a big deal - I imagine a 4.3 build will come out eventually. Second, the JST 0.8mm pitch connector with Teflon wiring is pretty annoying to deal with. I’ve never worked with that connector style before as they aren’t common on RC stuff. But, there’s no obvious way to properly de-pin the connector, so I ended up just tugging on the wire until it came out. This leaved the crimp end in the connector, which I’m not a huge fan of. I realize that space is at a huge premium on this board, but I would happily have taken an AIO that’s ~2mm longer or so in order to have the more typical 1.0mm pitch connector, which is much easier to work with. 2 may be needed, since I don’t think they make them with more than ~12 pins, but again that’s a trade I’d happily take. Adding on to this, the Teflon wire is pretty annoying. Yes, it’s super small and that’s great, but stripping teflon off of copper is a giant pain, and teflon will start to burn at typical soldering temperatures, which can be toxic (especially to birds), so there’s some concern there for newer builders. That being said, the end result is an extremely clean build, and it flies pretty darn well, even with a stock BF 4.2.x build. If you’re using a DJI controller, you don’t even have to deal with the JST 0.8mm pitch connector, and will end up with an even cleaner build than I did. Parts for my build: NewBeeDrone Infinity V2 AIO FPVCycle Imperial UniBell 1880kv motors JB Edition QAV-S Caddx Vista/Caddx Nebula Pro camera Brain3D Frame Kit FPVCrate purple Quad Skids w/LEDs wired to RaceWire I would strongly recommend this if you want a super clean build and are only planning to use DJI for FPV and control link. If you’re planning to use a different receiver that doesn’t use SBUS (if it does, you could just wire it into the DJI connector), then I’d probably only recommend this if you have a decent amount of experience with soldering. This thing is cool, but given that virtually all FC/ESC stacks these days are connectorized anyway, you aren’t exactly saving soldering time by buying this compared to a more typical stack. It does look super cool though."

Design: cool, execution: meh
"This is an interesting design concept - jam a very full-featured AIO into a sexy looking case that is essentially a big aluminum heat sink. It's built like a tank. The tragic design flaw is the wiring harness. In order to keep the design clean, most peripheral connections (except for a DJI-compatible VTX) are handled by a super high density 16-pin plug connector with leads that are approximately the diameter of a human hair (I'm exaggerating, but they are rrrreally small). Thankfully there is a spare included in the box, because unless you are a twelfth-degree black belt in wire solder joints, you're gonna trash the first one. I also found configuring the dual gyros in BP to be a PITA, even with applying the preset that they recommend. Anyway, if you're adventurous and want to explore new and innovative methods of micro-level wire management, this is a good option. If you just want a build that doesn't require a scanning electron microscope and surgical precision, you can get the same or better functionality for less money elsewhere."
