Great performance, poor build quality
"Pros: 1) The antenna really delivers great performance and the range of the Goggles2 is greatly enhanced. I was able to go 2x as far, until the control link (rather than the video link) became the bottleneck. Cons 1) The MCX connectors on this antenna are really bad. While holding the antenna by the base plate, I had to push harder than I expected to get the antenna in. The glue that holds the 3D-printed part to the base separated because of the pressure. If you keep on adding and removing these antennas the connectors on your Goggles2 are GURANTEEED to get worn. 2) The overall build quality of these antennas can only be described as non-professional hobby grade. Glued acrylic, 3D-printed parts and poor connectors don't really impress. It doesn't feel like a consumer product. and together with the fragile construction I don't feel it's worth the price. What to do? 1) Instead of buying this, I suggest you get the Lumenier Universal Antenna Adapter Kit for DJI Goggles 2 so you then have an RP-SMA or SMA connector exposed. Then buy the regular SMA or RP-SMA version of this antenna for the performance and so you are only wearing out the adapter connector. 2) If you're more hands on, look online for how to build your own helical antenna. It's not a complex project."
