Description

The new JBF7 V2 takes everything great about the original JBF7 and adds a few key features that you asked for. Just like the original, it's got an F7 processor, SD card slot for black box logging, and 8 motor outputs. It's got a flexible pad layout that can handle almost any combination of peripherals you could want. Pads are large and heavy--easy for beginners to solder to and reduce the risk of lifted pads. With the new JBF7 V2, we switched to USB-C; we added a VTX pit switch; we added plugs for all of the major features, and we included pre-made plugs for common peripherals, to allow a no-solder or less-solder build for people using those peripherals. We also added small status LEDs for major components, to make troubleshooting easier. For those who like autonomous flight, the board now includes a barometer.

If you have any issues accessing the Black Box features please type out this text in the CLI to get black box data to your SD card "set sdcard_detect_inverted=on" press ENTER, then type "save" and press ENTER.

Why not post a link to the manual here?

"Love the FC, came here for wiring info etc - no link - oh well"

Best f7 board out there

"It is an amazing board. no complaints about its performance. The only thing I did not like was that the motor pads were on the bottom and it was pretty tight between the flight controller and ESC. Of course this could be solved by just using the JST connector."

Ryan H. (4/5)

Very happy with this, went

"Very happy with this, went into a 7 in LR I'm building. Board is very well laid out, pads are super easy to solder to. Onboard barometer is a plus too. Very good value. The detailed manual from JB is a huge plus for a newb like me."

Jack N. (5/5)

Good

"Biggest complaint is that soldering pads for UART 1 and 2, are on the opposite end that the plugs for the Receiver and VTX is. UART 3 and 4 are taken by other stuff. UART 5 is the only thing left to allow for RunCam's RXTX (opposite end of board). Very nice board overall, with okayish documentation (many picture/diagram and wording errors) and examples."

John N. (4/5)

Seem like a solid FC with an extra uart for GPS

"I’m running several of these in 5” builds I’ll be putting them through flight soon"

Mike (5/5)

The best

"So many big pads to solder onto, I paired it to a 60a hobby wing esc. It’s a real nice flight controller and worth buying. It fit all my needs after updating to BF 4.4"

Caleb C. (5/5)

JBL Flight Controler

"Nice layout, bigger and mor substantial pads. Quality item. RDQ fast shipper"

Needs More

"I would love it if you could make a dedicated ESC that would make everything so much better."
