The RDQ ESC took nearly a year to prototype, test, and finally be approved for release. This ESC was made with the everyday and beginner hobbyist in mind. While this version doesn't utilize the latest 32Bit technology (it can run up to 6S and DShot 600), it comes in at a great price making it a perfect option for the beginner or budget conscious. It offers the same performance and reliability found in ESCs like the Spedix 30a while being a fraction of the price, and the ability to solder a 330uf Capacitor directly to the ESC (the two holes in the middle and on the sides of the ESC).

Don't mistake the great price for a cheap product. The RDQ 30a ESC is as high of a quality of any ESC on the market today - you're simply getting pricing afforded by large production quantities and RDQ working directly with the factory. The ESC can easily handle the most extreme setups available today - your most demanding 6S setups and motors will fly great on these RDQ ESCs. The individual 30a BLHeli_S ESC can run up to DShot600 and handle up to 6S. 

This ESC is packaged "naked" without any wires and features the ability to solder a 330uf Capacitor directly to the two holes in the middle edges of the ESC. If you mount the cap to the esc via the holes, be sure to mount the esc away from prop strike range (either very close to the motor or the center of the frame) and displace the cap appropriately to avoid prop strikes. 

For wires, we recommend 18awg wire on the battery leads and 22awg on the signal and ground. RDQ carries both
