Reviews
The Footage is just as
"The Footage is just as good as my old Hero session 5. The performance seems to keep up with the drone. I think the Quality is great. Will see how it hols up over some time and I'll write another review. But for now Hoghly recommend for the price over a Go Pro."

Good picture quality, works well
"Good picture quality, works well with the JB FPV drone as long as you use the app to configure the shutter speed."

I found the a great
"I found the a great replacement for the much more expensive session camera. The footage is great for the price, but it could use a little work to get up there with the big boys. I have ejected this little sucker a couple times but the color always made it easy to find. The quality of construction is pretty good but in the first crash I did sustain damage. Get your Airlegs first before you damage your brand new camera."

Run Cam 5 orange from Pyrodrone
"How good that Pyrodrone has in its inventory this great camera 4K Run Cam 5 Orange. It fills an important need for a flight-proof, drop-proof, and moderate-cost camera."

Great cheap Camera to catch
"Great cheap Camera to catch that freestyle flying that doesn’t have to be perfect quality!"

Its 80% as nice as
"Its 80% as nice as a GoPro picture at 1/4 the cost. It's a great camera that has held up well. The GoPro session 5 mounts for so you have access to all those mounts."
— Peter P. (5/5)
Good quality at this price.
"Good resolution and video footage. Some problems with SD cards. Doesn't provide high-resolution footage on every high-powered SD Card. SanDisk cards don't work for high resolutions. Only Samsung 64GB U3 cards work for 4k resolution."

Great camera for the price
"First off, do not compare this to a $500 GoPro, this camera is a fact of the price and provides a great video for that price point. Changing settings are actually pretty easy, and I like that it is orange so that the crone is easier to see if you got to go find it. I like that I do not have to remove the camera form the mount on the drone to charge it or to pull the SD card. Overall for the price this product is great."

Q&A
is there any difference in the orange or black other than the color?
Same camera, different colors - Happy flying!
Is there a mount for this camera that would specifically fit the Cinelog 30?
Any mount for the GoPro session 5 should work
I am starting FPV and buying all things needed to fly, but I got question. I am interested in this camera but how you attach it to the drone body? I have seem that others cameras got a 30º tilted mount ? Has Runcam 5 a drone mount? Thank you
Hey Fernando. Buy a 3D printed TPU mount for a GoPro session 5. This camera and the session are close enough in size that you can swap mounts. Mounts are usually designed for a specific kwad frame and the holes line up with the bolt pattern of the top plate in the front. By removing the factory screws from the top plate, placing the mount on the top plate lining its holes up with those in the frame, then reinserting the screws, you can secure the mount to the kwad. From there you just squeeze the camera in to the semi-flexible mount and you're ready to go!
Is there a black version of this camera?
I think an early version of the Runcam 5 came in black but AFAIK it's only available in orange now. hope this helps
What sd card works the best for the runcam 5
I'm using a SanDisk Extreme PLUS 64GB Memory Card. It's been working good.
Will this fit in session mounts?
Yes it will! These have very similar dimensions and will fit nicely.
