"It works fine, with the only issue being you sometimes have to plug and unplug it. It sometimes refuses to connect. I haven’t gotten to test range since I only really used it as a camera for my chickens. The video quality is just okay, not that great but usable. Channel selection is easy with the auto search that usually works okay."

"Great product and very fast shipping...I donated this product for an FPV livestream 👍"

      Eh, it works

"The picture is acceptable, but the controls are a mystery. The channel selection is only displayed for a few seconds on startup and is not displayed when you press the 2 buttons, which are not labeled. I pressed the buttons a few times until I had an image, but I'm unsure how close I am to the correct frequency as the bands have overlap. Using windows tablet, not the app."

      William F. (3/5)

I wish I could give it ZERO stars!

"The necessary app crashes immediately after opening it, so there is no way to tell if the receiver actually works or not, and no other app works with it, so this thing is completely useless! Save your money!"

Really fun! Turn your android phone into a monotor

"Do not use the skydroid app as it is a piece of Garbage and doesmt look to be anything but abamdonwear. But dont fret! Use the app OTGView instead. This little device is a really nice monitor reciever. And you can even change the antenna (which i would suggest you do lol) is it worth it? If you want an easy to use, cheapnlittle monitor and you already have an amdroid phone. Then yes it is. Heck. Even if you habe an old android phone you dont use anymore i bet this would still work. Hmmmmm?"

      Adam L. (5/5)

      Better than nothing at all

"This thing isn't great, but it's something. I haven't been able to get it to work with my PC with VLC media player, but it works fine on my phone ***as long as wifi and mobile data are turned off*** - I haven't measured the delay but it's probably under 100ms; Not the best option for precision I assume, but just for cruising around on a budget it's pretty alright. Something with a larger screen like a tablet would make the experience much better, but still there is a lack of immersion you could only get with goggles. In my opinion the best application for this either just to see if your stuff works and it's all you have/can afford, or maybe a cool spare thing for if other people want to watch. Not bad for the price!"

      James P. (4/5)

A little klugie, but works with work

"Was horrible with my Android Samsung phone, but when hooked up to a laptop running Linux, did great. It shows a better range than with the Fat Shark V3. If you can't run a Linux machine, DON'T BUY IT."

      Mike (3/5)

      Works great

"Details say for windows, but it works on my Mac. You can use Quicktime to display the video and record it too."

      Eric G. (5/5)

      Great Spectating Receiver

"I use this to get dvr and when others want to watch. The video is a little crunchy as at least on my phone where every other vertical line gets ignored."

      John C. (4/5)

      Q&A

Is this for digital or analog video?
      Analog 5.8 only
Hi, does this receiver can also work with Apple phones if I use a adapter?
Honestly I tried doing it and it didn’t work since there is no app that works like otg view for ios and their app for iOS doesn’t even work. But maybe you can actually try downloading obs studio and test it from there if it detects the otg fpv receiver. Who knows if it will work.
Can you use the 4 pin connector to supply 5 volts and ground and the video and audio pins to send the video and audio signals to another devices input for composite video and standard audio. The other device could be a monitor or DVR.
Yes, it would be easiest to make a connecter using the JST SH 1.0 & Molex Pico Blade 1.25 DIY Silicone Cable Set
Does anyone know if you can use this source on android to stream video live?
it depends on the app you connect this to. dont use the skydroid app (it is not made well) use something else like otg view app or something like that.
What does "Backorder" mean? Is this product gonna be in stock again? Thank you
Backorder means they don't have it currently but have some on order, if they don't intend to restock they usually will make note of that clearly on the product's page. There is currently shortages in the electronics industry so everything is currently slow.
Will this work with the DJI HD system? If I have a lightning to usb C adapter for my iPhone will it work?
This will not work with the DJI system. The Lightning to USB C adapter will work.
