Reviews

What I expected and more.

"Epic product, works as it should. Upgraded the padding and bought some nice antennas for you it as well. The image is large and surprisingly crisp and easy to view, plenty bright. . Paired with my Aquila 16 and Radiomaster Pocket it's extremely responsive for a low entry setup. I would assume approx 30ms latency tops as is. Using the HDMI input for Liftoff I was able OC the frame rate to 80fps at 1280x720 resolution very easily. I bought this knowing I would be also investing in HDZero in the future for 3-10ms response times but wanted a reliable backup pair for analog and friends to use. Turning off resolution scaling drops the latency a little. The HDMI input likely has a 10ms or so latency itself. Head tracking out had no issues going into the trainer port of my radio master pocket and is usable on PC as well, however there's no way to utilize it in Liftoff. . But racing Sims yes. . XD I might of got the last one in Canada, sorry. . . <3 GetFPV was amazing and even called me to help with antennas. Skyzone makes a great box set for a noob. Love it. Thank you!!"

"Based on reviews and price i expected to get something that was built with some sort of quality control but on the first day the glass that reflects the screen was stained which was not the end of the world but was questionable since it was a sealed product. I let that go and expected everything else to go just fine especially with the $270 price tag, after 2 weeks i set the googles down while messing with a quad and despite me not slamming them against the table and just firmly setting them down on the table the screen located on the top of the goggles fell down and i had to take off the cover to push it back in and thats when i noticed that the screen was being held by friction. Despite this the goggles themselves work just fine and i haven’t had any issues regarding the software or tech side. However the quality control feels nonexistent and a big problem for a pair of mid range $270 dollar goggles. Will not be considering sky-zone goggles ever again."

Leonardo (2/5)

"Good product, no issues, good shipping. As a side note, make sure your 18650 batteries are flat top."

Liam (5/5)

"Shipping was fast. Great set of goggles and a good place to buy them."

Dustin (5/5)

analog, walksnail, and sims all in one

"Easy to use for my existing analog drone an I could stick on a walksnail avater receiver and use the hdmi to also use my hd drone. This will also work for playing flight sims, at least it worked with Liftoff"

Alex W. (5/5)

Nice goggles

"Nice goggles that you can wear with glasses. Not all my glasses work some do. Goggles pretty comfortable with included Foam . Goggles not very big for box goggles. I only worn them for indoor flying so far, reception good."

Robert R. (5/5)

Got a second pair

"I wear glasses and this goggles are the best for me to use. I now have two pairs. One for at home and the other I use at my camper."

Great for poor vision

"Best box goggles around, I have a friend with terrible eyesight and he can see clearly through these! He was completely blown away as he is +3 in box left eye and will be buying a set for himself now too! I'm 20/20 and love them as well, Good dvr and the cable to run off a xt60 battery is great"

Q&A

Is it V4 or V2?
V4 it comes with the 3.3 steadyview receiver.
Do you need to buy the 18650 battery for the goggles separate?
Yes, The goggles do not come with an 18650 battery.
what battery?
I use a power bank and have a long usb c cord running to the headset. The battery you can run in the headset itself it pretty small and all the reviews I read said just use external USB power banks for longest use time
I’m not too knowledgeable to FPV and am looking into buying these goggles. I just wanna know, would they be compatible with my TinyHawk Freestyle II?
Yes, they will work! Happy flying!
Complete newb trying to use these with Velocidrone. Is there something I need to do besides powering them up and plugging in Mini HDMI? The manual doesnt cover this much at all.
You'll need to reference the manual on how to navigate to HDMI in mode. Happy flying!
Any updates on availability?
Don't know it for sure. To me, V2 is most recent version.
