New goggles

Surprised, no regrets.

"I got these goggles for analog whoops then to transition to walksnail later when I move to bigger quads. With whoops flying around the home I have to say my EV800D goggles have zero break up, while the steadyview 3.3 does. Others have fixed this with a rapid fire or tbs receiver, I do not feel the need to buy a nicer receiver to put it in perspective. I was just surprised the $90 box goggles had a better receiver. Goggles are great to wear in comparison to my box goggles. Picture is excellent, I wasn't dissatisfied with the EV800D picture though. Nice to have the diopter adjustments in case I don't have my corrective lenses in. Menus are easy, buttons feel nice, I enjoy the 0x4 pro's. The ugly... The double-sided tape on the faceplate foam didn't last long, started unsticking a day or so later. The faux leather with velcro back has held up better, but still some detactment of tape. I feel that $500 for the goggles is pretty steep especially if an ev800d has a better vrx. I do not regret my goggles, but I don't think the shoe completely fits. I have started reconsidering getting the walksnail vrx to use in conjunction with these goggles in lui of dominator's."

"I started with emax goggles then fat shark scouts. Which are very low quality. The first time I used the skyzone 04x pro I pitch a tent. These goggles are so comfortable and have an excellent reception. I'm very happy with these goggles. I can't wait to use them more in the spring."
