Description

This Transparent Shell is for the TBS Tango 2. You can customize it and make it yours! This shell is for newer versions of the Tango 2 Radio (after March 2021) which have a slightly larger screen compared to the older versions.

TBS TANGO 2 WITH NEWER SCREENS
Due to the pandemic, TBS was unable to source the same screen used since its initial launch. Luckily, they found a replacement! However, it requires modification of the case to accommodate the new electronics.

INSTALLATION
For customizing purposes (paint job, hydro-dip, etc), TBS leaves the led diffuser, speakers, and buttons uninstalled.

BUTTONS AND DIFFUSER

1. Put it in place through the plastic pins.
   
2. With your soldering iron, melt the pins down to hold the buttons down.

SPEAKER UNIT

1. The speaker unit on your existing case is held on with glue. Carefully cut into the glue along the wall of the speaker unit with an Exacto knife.
   
2. Pull out the speaker and rub off the leftover glue.
   
3. Install the speaker to the new case with silicone adhesive.
