Flawed Firmware -Overcharges!!!

"I’ve had two of these chargers and both have identical overcharging issues. Research this on RCGROUPS.com This charger overcharges batteries and creates a very DANGEROUS situation. https://youtu.be/FuSOM9oBPUs"

issues keep this from being a pretty good charger

"The PH2.0 ports are too close to charge more than 2 stick batteries at a time which really defeated the purpose of buying this for me. On another much more costly and potentially dangerous note, port 2 seems to consistently want to overcharge batteries. The port doesn't stop at a "fully charged" state like the other ports it continues to charge until it errors out with an "over voltage" error. Can't rely on this charger unfortunately; only had it 2 days."

Only one minor flaw that kinda sucks

"I had an older version of this charger and it disappeared somewhere in my house. Wife and kids deny any involvement but it is no where to be found, I searched for days. I may have even called out of work one day and didn't tell them so I could look some more, but no charger. I got my new charger in the mail today and was excited to be able to chase the kids and animals with the whoop again. I unboxed it, plugged it in, and set it up. I grabbed four 205mah stick batteries and was ready to start charging. NOPE, the JST-PH 2.0 connectors on each side are about 1mm apart from each other. So if you are using the batteries with the connector on the end of the battery without the wire you are only going to be able to charge two at a time, one on each side. That's a real bummer. I am going to look to see if I can find some tiny extensions so I can charge 4 at once. If you are using the batteries with the wired connector then you are good. It's a minor issue but still an issue none the less."

Q&A

When charging 2S... does this do balance charging?
No. This is a whoop 1-2s charger that uses the balance lead to charge. The XT60 on the side is input for field charging. The charger is AC/DC so also plugs to the wall for home charging.
Does this charger balance charge the 2s batteries?
Yes it does.
Does this charger have a storage mode for 1s batteries?
It does not. We suggest you have more fun and fly around to bring them to storage. :)
