Overheated on first use.
"I purchased 3 of these. One overheated and forced me to rip my quad apart to avoid a fire. The second would not charge and the third is sitting on my bench waiting for me to throw it in the trash. The battery in these little units comes with a safe storage charge. So before you use it, you need to charge it. Charging takes more than an hour and, by design, is accomplished by installing it in your quad and then connecting power to your quad. So, you don't just connect it, power up your GPS and then go fly. This makes for very bad situations. What's more, I've found that all of my GPS units lock on in less than a minute and achieve 20-30 sats in under 90 seconds. So, I don't need a VIFLY GPS-Mate."

Careful where you mount
"Actual item works great however on a flip over landing my tpu gps mount tapped the small plastic connector where battery plugs into board and broke it off. I wound up cutting battery wires and CAREFULLY soldering to the board one leg at a time. To be fair the mount lined up perfectly with the connector but it’s a weak point in design and could have a flatter connection or direct solder ( I doubt many people will by a replacement battery if that one dies so no need for connector)."
