The Dark Breeze Edition looks great and is the perfect choice for relaxed FPV flying. This PNP version is glue-free and portable, with detachable wings and a tail boom. With its stylish "stealthy" look, it's easy to hand launch. This new stealthy Dark Breeze Edition is a great addition to your FPV lineup!  When the ZOHD Drift was planned, there were some very specific goals in mind, but the most important one was to make it easy to fly. It allows anyone to start flying right out of the gate, even beginners. The Drift is ultra-light and very durable, so it will survive "not-so-perfect" landings. The PNP package includes the ZOHD DRIFT plane PNP with pre-installed motor, ESC, servos, propeller, and hardware. There is a hole in the nose for your FPV camera, and there is also space in the belly for a receiver and other electronics.

    "This drift is a great plane. I had this black version 100% stock at over 61mph. On 3s 2200mah The wings worth the heavier foam took it like a champ. I am however. Going to upgrade the motor to 1407 or 1408 4000kv. Like my white one I only wish the battery bay was larger.... Besides that excellent plane check out my youtibe vids on this plane. Dvs don fpv"

    Easy Flying FPV Glider

    Great little fun flyer

    "Very easy to put together and requires no tools. I added a GPS and HDzero system and flight controller so it came out a little heavier. I run a 2s2500 LION pack and get a good 15 minutes of flying. Does best on calmer days. Comes in a great little box that you can use to transport the kit around as well."

    "The black foam seems weaker than the white. The black tail/fusselodge busted in half on a diveBBC. Motors always burn out on 3s. Ive Had 3 motors smoke on 3s u must upgrade the motors for 3s. But it flys great. Glides great, very fun .. can fly very slow w/o tip stall.. .. If u fly on 2s and don't pull any G's you'll be fine.. (Mraning icky do what it was designed to do. Lol."

    I like to get my son a fpv plane what do you recommend that is durable and that is beginner friendly
    Good afternoon, That would depend on how experienced your son is flying RC planes. I have found top mounted rear drive planes to be somewhat challenging taking off for beginners. The plane wants to dive when released and unless you are throwing right handed with left hand on the elevator and aileron stick it can quickly get out of control. I would suggest something with wheels to start and then move over to the ZOHD. Just remember that the ZOHD does not have any rudder control. Have a look at Andrew Newton's videos on YouTube, he does a nice review of the ZOHD and a lot of other planes. Regards, Dave
    Does this plane come with the fpv camera & camera tx or are they sold separately?
    The FPV system with kopilot and camera are only available separately with the Dark Breeze. They are, however available as a package with the white version of the Drift. One solution would be to buy both and put the system in the Dark Breeze!
